Follow the instructions within this blog post to use Facebook effectively for earning money with your Affiliate Marketing, Network Marketing, MLM or Homebased Business.
Use Facebook to Build an Audience
RULE #1- “Stop Spamming your affiliate link, MLM company logo, product info, etc on your personal Facebook timeline. ” No one wants to see your business promotion on your personal Facebook timeline. Create a Facebook business page to promote your business, affiliate offers, product info, and helpful niche related content.
RULE #2- If you do not have an audience, you have no business, no one will see your content, affiliate links, product or service. Build an audience that wants or needs the solution that your product or service provides, then capture their email address. Then build “know, like and trust” by emailing them helpful information related to the problem or desire that your audience is trying to obtain. Each email should contain a “Call To Action” that asks your reader to click the link, read another post, join your social media, buy a product or service, ask for a freebie.
How to Build an Audience
Build an Audience
Engage with your Audience
Sell to your Audience
Use these 6 Pillars to Build an Audience
Pillar 1 – VISION & Personal Development Strategy
You must know your “WHY”. Why do you want to build an online business? (Write it down, learn to see it clearly in your mind’s eye.) At this point don’t worry about the How right now.
Work harder on yourself than you work on your prospect. (You must become the person that attracts the ideal prospect for your business.
If you need help to discover your WHY (passion) Search YouTube for Jim Rohn, Tony Robins, etc and learn how to set written goals and how to achieve the goals you set. Apply what you learn ( knowledge without action is worthless).
Pillar 2 – Target Market & Personal Branding Strategy
Who are you, what do you stand for, and who do you serve?
What are the biggest challenges, concerns, problems of the people that you serve?
You must know what they REALLY want?
Pillar 3 – Monetization Strategy
How is your business going to earn money? What are you going to sell?
What are the income producing activities in your business
What could you see to your prospects today?
Offer a low-cost, no brainier $1 – $27 irresistible offer to convert a prospect into a buyer,
What are you selling for the next 30 days? What is your sales goal?
Pillar 4 – Content Creation Strategy
VALUABLE content is the king – new currency. ( you will never earn any substantial money just spamming your affiliate links on social media.) You must become a teacher, anyone can teach. All you have to do is say “Here is what I learned today” and then share what you learned. (Word to the wise– if you are not willing to teach, you might as well quit now. Because that is how the internet and internet marketing works.)
Decide which content creation platform you are most comfortable using (blogging, video, Facebook live, YouTube live, etc.)
20% of your business building time should be content creation.
80% of your time should be promoting your the content that you created (on social media).
Choose which promotional method you will use (paid or free – both can be done on social media).
When you are first starting, chose one social media to promote your content. Once you are generating 10 leads per day, your can chose a second social media to add additional promotion.)
All your content should have a CALL to ACTION.
Pillar 5 – Build – Engage – Sell (BES)
All successful digital marketers constantly add value and solutions to their audience’s needs. Here is the KEY TO ONLINESUCCESS:
Build audience, engage your audience, sell your audience.
Focus you attention on these three tasks every single day and you will WIN!
Pillar 6 – Audience, Traffic & List Building
Million Dollar Question: How are you going to drive targeted prospects to your blog, website, opportunity presentations, offers and lead magnets?
Everyone wants more traffic ∧ leads, but ALL top earners focus on developing Pillars 1-5 FIRS
Before you can generate traffic – You must answer these question:
Free vs Paid?
Social networking vs direct response ads?
EngageCment Ads / Likes Campaign to Grow Facebook Audience?
Where is your target market having conversations online, and can you join these conversations?
Do you understand the 80/20 Rule? 80% Promotion / 20% Content Creation
What is your Structured daily plan of ACTION to Grow Your Audience(s), and syndicating you pillar / promotional / lead magnet content across the web and in from of laser-targeted potential buyers for YOUR business?

All successful marketers have an email list! They are constantly building, nurturing and profiting from their email list. In this blog post you will learn the importance of an email list and how to start, grow and generate increased income from your email.
If you have been around online marketing/ affiliate marketing very long you no doubt have heard the quote ” The money is in the list.” But more accurately the quote should be “The money is in the followup,” What good is it to build a list of several thousand email subscribers if you do not nurture a relationship with them?
Let us start by defining what an email list is.
Wikipedia defines an email list as:
An electronic mailing list or email list is a special use of email that allows for widespread distribution of information to many Internet users. It is similar to a traditional mailing list – a list of names and addresses – as might be kept by an organization for sending publications to its members or customers, but typically refers to four things:
a list of email addresses,
the people (“subscribers”) receiving mail at those addresses, thus defining a community gathered around a topic of interest.
the publications (email messages) sent to those addresses, and
a reflector, which is a single email address that, when designated as the recipient of a message, will send a copy of that message to all the subscribers.
I define an email list as follows”
An email list is a collection of email address that you have compiled through your website, blog or funnel. These email address are from customers, visitors or potential customers.
How valuable is your email list
Your email list is your most important asset. It cannot be taken away from you. Your emai list is likened to owning property as opposed to renting property from someone else.
Think of it like this, When you build a list of Messenger contacts on Facebook, you do not own that list. Facebook owns the list and can take it away from you at anytime and for any reason. Facebook does shut down account all the time. Same goes with building a YouTube channel, YouTube can and does shut down accounts.
All your hard work is lost if you depend upon a rented property. This is not to say that you should not use Facebook, YouTube etc. of course you should use every avenue that you can.
I am saying just don’t put all you eggs in a rented basket.
Build your list on your owned property.

They can guarantee failure, or give your post a great shot at success. And yet many bloggers treat their title as an afterthought. There is an old saying (words if wisdom) among copywriter and successful business owner of old which still applies today, and here it is:
“The secret to building a successful business is Early to bed, early to rise and advertise.”
Online promotion is a form of advertising. There are two types of website promotion methods and they are Free Traffic Generation and Paid Traffic Generation. In post, I review 27 Free Traffic Generation Techniques. But, I must give you a word of caution: Free Traffic Generation is not free, it requires that you invest a significant amount of time.

8. YouTube is the best method for promoting your content
Every website page or blog post should have a video. YouTube is a search engine not just a video sharing platform. YouTube is the number two search engine, second only to Google. This should tell you the importance of video.
Any YouTube video that has a Share button can be embedded on your site. Find videos that are relevant to your content and embed.
Better yet, Make your own video. Start by recording your video on your smart phone or laptop camera., click here If you need help to get started with video I recommend Antonine Dupont training click here.
Helpful Hint: Ricky Kesler of IncomeSchool.com has these suggestion for generating traffic on YouTube.
Write a list post. Example: 21 Differences between Class A and Class B motorhomes
Record a video inside your motorhome and discuss 11 differences between Class A and Class B motorhomes.
At the end of your video make your call to action “This is only 11 differences, there are a lot more. Check out my blog post where I share 21 Differences between Class A and Class B motorhomes. Go to MotorHomes.com/21. I will include a link in the discription below this video, also.”
9. Use Buffer to share your content across several Social Networks
“Buffer is a paid service that allows you to automate the process of publishing new posts on Facebook, Twitter, and several other social networks. You can schedule posts for several days in advance. By doing this, you can control when each post is being published so that you can target your audience all across the globe at the right time. At the time of the writing the starting price is $15 per month.”
“Facebook Groups are pages that you create within the Facebook social networking site that are based around a real-life interest or group or to declare an affiliation or association with people and things. With a Facebook Group, you are creating a community of people and friends to promote, share and discuss relevant topics within your niche.”
11. Be active on Reddit
Wikipedia describes Reddit like this”
“Reddit is an American social news aggregation, web content rating and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts and images, which are then voted up or down by others members. Quora is a question and answer website sort of like Reddit. Anyone can post a question and get answers from the experts in a given niche. Here are several tips to utilize.

13. Share in Forums
Lars Lofgren via Quicksprout.com said this about driving traffic to your website using forums:
“Forum marketing might be the most underutilized traffic gereation strategy on the planet. However, simply creating a signature and leaving generic posts isn’t going to get you a tidal wave of traffic.”
Here are his how to tips on forum marketing.
Find forums in your niche that are active. Key into google search bar your niche keyword in quotes + forums, “bass fishing” + forums. You will also want to try your keyword powered by vBulletin, like this “bassfishing” powered by vBulletin. vBulletin is software used for creating and managing forums. Another search you should try is “very specific keyword” hot thread with new post, example “spinner bait bass fishing” hot thread new post.
When you look at a forum, look at the most resent post info and see when the post was published. You want to see how active the forum is before making an account. If posts have been posted within the last few days that is a good sign, perferabley in the last 24 hours.
Register to be a forum user. Fill out your screen name carefully. You want you screen name to be your brand or personal name. You want a memorable and branded screen name. Use your brand name or website, like Nike or PhilKnight (if you are the founder of Nike). I usually use TomCaldwellOnline (this is my brand and website URL).
Next set up your signature, this is how you are going to drive traffic to your blog or website. In your signature you want to create a benefit driven all-to-action. Example: Facebook advertising strategies, like me on Facebook now.(embed your Facebook page URL)
Now that you have your account and signature set up it is time to get busy and participate in the forum. Check out the different sections on the forum and hang out in the section were the most people viewing. You can also hang out in section in which you have a certain expertise.
Click on the thread titles and see where you can add value. Don’t make the mistake of trying to respond to a lot of threads, just comment on the threads where you can actually add value, This is a quality over quantity situation.
Stick to the top of the forum section, don’t scroll down very far. Not at many people will see your comment toward the bottom of the thread.
When commenting be brief, and to the point and include your keyword interview and title.
If you begin to get traffic from given forum, you need to start your own threads.
You can copy and paste content directly from you blog post (which have been indexed by google) and use it on the forums. You can make a shorter version or add something a little different to make it exclusive for the forum.
Remember to add quality to your responses. Quality increases the likelihood of being seen as an expert.
14. Share on Imgur
You may have never heard of Imgur.com, it is an image sharing community and image host, that boosts that it is the easiest way to discover the magic of the Internet. It’s where you’ll find the funniest, most informative and inspiring images, memes, GIFs, and visual stories severed up in an endless stream of bite-sized fun.
Create images similar to the popular motivational quotes that you see on Facebook and Tumblr. Use curiosity in your images to invite viewer to read you blog post. Do not include a direct link to the blog post but put a watermark that has your website URL. Here is a picture of a very successful Imgur image with website URL watermark.
Problogger shares an excellent Imgur.com strategy of turn your images into an Imgur album and share on Reddit. Here is the article.
15. Put share buttons on all your blog posts
It is no secret that social networks are some of the most popular places on the internet. That is why social media marketing should be a crucial part of your business growth strategy.
The easy way to include social media is to encourage your readers to share your content on their favorite social network. Do this by placing social share buttons at the end of every blog post. There are several WP plugins that will perform this task. I use the Word Press plugin named AddTo Any share button.
16. Reuse content with the Revive Old Posts Word Press plugin
Revive Old Post is a WordPress paid plugin which grows your online presence by automatically scheduling posts from your website to Social Media Networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more.
However, you can revive old posts yourself without the paid plugin. If you have installed the social share button as suggested in tip number 15. Simply go to one your blog posts, scroll to the end on the post, click a social network button and share the post. Repeat the process for each of your posts.
17. Share on Tumblr
Tumblr is both a social media network and a micro blogging platform. Tumblr makes is easy to share short text posts, photos, quotes, links, music, videos, etc from any device. Word of caution: 60% of Tumblr users are teens 13 – 19 years old. Depending on your niche, Tumblr may not provide you with traffic that has buyer intent or suitable for your niche.
18. Submit blog posts to Mix (formerly Stumbleupon)
“StumbleUpon is a unique discovery network which allows you to stumble upon a new content of
interest. It is easy to create an account and set up everything, add interests and submit links. Once
you choose a category, you can post an article to it while all the other Stumblers may get your site
loaded on their screens. If you’re lucky (and you have a quality content), people will start to like your
pages, and that means getting even more social shares. Don’t expect instant success, but if you try
hard enough, you might get a decent number of new visits from this impressive network.”
19. Alltop is a news aggregation site to which you may be able to submit your content
Alltop is a very popular news aggregation site that covers just about every niche. Check to see if your content meets the requirements before submitting. When you prepare content for submission, follow the guideline carefully as the Alltop moderators are very strict with the rules.
20. Submit your website to web directories
Web directories do little to help with back links to your site but, they help build traffic and trust with potential visitors. Here are the names of a few web directories: Best of the Web, About Us, Spoke.com and Blogorama. Before you submit to a web directory I suggest that you read the article 21 Web Directories That Still Have Value.
21. Viral Content Bee is a lot of work but, it will be worth the effort
Fitsmallbusiness.com describes Viral Content Bee:
“Viral Content Bee (formerly Viral Content Buzz) is a content marketing platform that enables social media marketers and bloggers to highlight and distribute their best content online. The software works on a credit system, where users earn credits by sharing other’s content so that they, too, can post their own.
“The Community tab gives channels a Facebook page-like experience where creators can post various types of status updates – text, images, links, and GIFs. Subscriber and visitors to the channel can like posts and reply (text only).”
23. Join blogging communities
The Blog Metrics has an excellent post that sheds light on using blogging communities to promote and drive traffic to your website. Click here to read the post.
24. Build an email list
There is an old saying among copywriters and marketers, “The Money is in the List”. I cannot over emphasize the importance of building your email list. Start building your list from day one, do not wait. Set yourself up with an autoresponder service, then create an optin page, welcome email and a sequence of follow up emails. Do not bombard your list with endless sales copy but, instead provide helpful content that answers your reader most pressing questions and then occasionally promote an affiliate offer or product or service that you have provide.
Here are six important reasons to build and communicate regularly with your list.
Email is personal. Who doesn’t like to receive a personal letter from a friend or trusted adviser?
Email is purposeful. Done correctly, email builds know, like and trust.
Email is targeted. Your email subscribers will come from your niche.
You own your list. Your email list is an asset and cannot be taken away from you. You can even sell your list should you decide to start a new venture.
Email is one on one.
People check email several time per day.
25. Give away a freebie to encourage email subscribers
In order to get people to optin to your email list you must offer them a bribe. Optin bribes are known as lead magnets.
26. Use an Autoresponder to communicate with you email list
You may be asking “What is an Autoresponder?” Here is answer, a series of messages sent out automatically after a person subscribes to your list. These messages typically include a welcome letter and access to the lead magnet, several emails containing additional information, and eventually sales promotions and or content upgrades, membership site, etc.
In order to use an autoresponder you must employ software which is provided by and email marketing service like Awber, Get Response, Convert Kit and Mail Chimp. For bloggers I have heard that Convert Kit is a good chose.
I use and recommend the Autoresponder/Page Builder designed especially for affiliate marketers. The price is $25 per month and you can earn $20 per month for each new users that you sign up. With this unbeatable deal you can build a list of 50,000 subscribers for this low monthy price. Click here to get started now!
If the price is stopping you from building your email list, there is no excuse to not start because Mail Chimp is free up to 2,000 subscribers. Do It now.
27. Email sequences for your list.
Stay in touch with your subscribers. This is vital. Email them at least once a month after your initial welcome series. Provide value, do not bombard your list with promotional offers.

Do you want to build a website and start earning money online?
What if I could tell you the 4 easy steps to build your online business? In this post I share with you how easily you can get started today by taking Action with 4 easy steps. Plus if you stick around to the end I will include a Bonus. Let’s get started.
Step 1 – Build A List Of People You Don’t Know
You will need an Autoresponder to capture people’s names and emails. The importance of building your own email list cannot be over emphases. Your email list is and asset that cannot be take away from you. Unlike social media follower, which can disappear in a slit second. YouTube is well known for shutting down a channel with no explanation.
What Is An Autoresponder?
Here is definition given by i-Autoresponder
An autoresponder is a service, script or program that sends out one or more pre-written email messages in reply to an email sent to it. This can be done from a customer either filling out a web form or sending a request email. Basically, an Autoresponder is a piece of software that automatically delivers your information to anyone who asks for it.
Autoresponders are often used as e-mail marketing tools, to immediately provide information to their prospective customers and then follow-up with them at preset time intervals. Autoresponders are an essential part of doing business and online marketing. They save you a great deal of time as well as increase sales. There many options when finding the best price and the features you need and they are getting easier to use all the time.
An Autoresponder not only saves you time and money it helps to develop a trust relationship between both existing customers and potential customers alike. If you are not using an Autoresponder you are getting left behind. There are so many good service providers out there now that make it so easy to set up that you really have no excuse anymore. Give an Autoresponder a try to watch your profits grow.
I recommend: This Autoresponder, because it was created by affiliate marketers and designed especially for affiliate marketers.
Step 2 – Build Relationships With These People
Build know, like and trust, by remembering this quote:
“Nobody cares about you or what you want…it’s all about what’s in it for them.”
Be personable by answering questions, comment and interact with people on social media. Respond comments on your blog post. Offer then a freebie if they opt into your email list.
Step 3 – Deliver Valuable Information and Content To These People
What is “valuable content?” Valuable content is content that internet users want to read. Valuable content must be interesting, factual and well written. People who use the internet are looking for entertainment, information, community and helpful products at a competitive price.
Deliver your value-packed content through your blog, website or email list.
Do Not Spam your affiliate links on Social Media, this will get you band in a heartbeat. However, you should share your blog post on all of your social media networks,
Step 4 – Market Products and Services To These People
Don”t be afraid to ask for the sale. Include a call to actions in all your content. On your blog or website posts include three call toactions . One at the top, one in the middle and one at the bottom. Many would-be profitable blogs and websites fail because they are not properly monetized with products or services that relate to the content or niche.
BONUS: How to Set Up an Effective Affiliate Strategy for Making Money on Your Site
There are many ways to make money on the Web and a popular method is to use an affiliate program. But there is more to making money with an affiliate program than simply pasting in your links and watching your bank account grow. The following strategies will help you create a better affiliate site.
Start with Content, Not Affiliate Links
It can be very tempting to create a site that is jammed full of affiliate links. But if you don’t have content to back up your links, your readers will simply leave. Remember, as an affiliate, you are automatically a middleman. This means that your customers can get what you’re selling somewhere else, possibly for less. What do you provide to your customers that they can’t get by going straight to the retailer?
Then Look at the Affiliate Provider
Check out how much they pay, how much their products sell for, and how useful they are. Plus, the more interested in the products you are, the easier it is for you to sell them.
Don’t Worry About the Pay Percentages
1% of a $500 product will net you more than 10% of a $30 product. That’s just math. But it can be easy to get sucked into the percentages when you’re working as an affiliate. If you start thinking “this affiliate only pays X and I could do better” you’re just going to sabotage yourself. Focus on the costs of the products you’re selling, not the amount you get from the sale.
Take Your Time
Affiliate selling takes patience. Some companies don’t pay out very quickly, or you need to make a minimum amount before they pay. If you spend time creating content and then adding affiliate links, your site will do better in the long run.
There you have it. Now it is time for you to Take Action and implement these strategies :
Build a list of people you don’t know.
Build relationships with these people, via social media and offer them a freebie if they join your email list.
Deliver valuable information and content to these people via your blog or website and email.
Market products and services that relate to your content or niche. Ask for the sale in a non-sales type of way, Simple recommend the products and services that you know to be a good value to your readers
“Action takers, are Money makers! Nothing worth wild is accomplished without Action.”
Search Engine Optimization is the best strategy for driving traffic to you blog/website. In this post I have created an Illustrated Guide For Search Engine Optimization (SEO) so that you can maximize your chance of ranking on page 1 of the search engines. Disclaimer: search engines are always changing their algorithm so, there is no guarantee, but if you will put your best foot forward, using the following techniques will help dramatically. At the end of the post I give you 3 bonus SEO tools recommended by SEO experts Neil Patel that will significantly boost your SEO ranking.
“For bloggers the introductions basically the first paragraph that appears right below the blog post title.” -Neil Patel
The title grabs the readers’ attention but, the job of the introduction is to entice people to continue reading. Grab the readers’ attention with the Hook, use the Transition briefly to explain how the hook connects with the body of the post and clarifies the title. The Thesis summarizes the topic and strengthen the reason why the reader should continue to read.

Keywords in Title and Content
What is a keyword?
A keyword is a word or phrase that describes the content on your page or post and is used by bloggers and online content creators to rank a web page (in Google search) on a particular topic.
Use a keyword research tool to find relevant keywords for you niche based content. There are several free keyword tools like KW Finder, Wordtracher, Google Keyword planner being the most common. If you are considering a paid keyword tool, I use and recommend the Jaxy.
A long-tail keyword is a keyword phrase that aims to capture search traffic for a specific , often 3+ word search query. Long-tail keywords are used to target niche demographics rather than mass audiences.
Title Tag and Meta Description tell the search engines and people what your content is about, It is important to take the extra minute to fill in your Meta information, because if you let Google do it things can get messed up really fast
P J Germain explains it like this: ” The meta description of your page or post, while not be all that important to ranking but, can be incredibly important on click through rates when your pages come up for Google searchers.”
Here is a video explaining Meta Information created by Marlinda. She is one of the mentors at Wealthy Affiliate. Just click on the image to play the video.
The use of images enhances user experience and helps your SEO value within the search engines.
Best practice is to use an image near the begin of your post (above the fold). Insert additional images were appropriate.
Always put an Alt tag within the image.
What is an Alt tag for images?
ALT tags or ALT attributes are “alternative text ” for an image. ALT tags are used to describe the image or what the image is representing. One of the main purposes of ALT tags is for the benefit of visually impaired users who use screen readers’ when browsing. ALT tags are also used for those who surf the web with images turned off or users that have text only browsers. As with many website specifics, ALT tags also play a role in SEO. ALT tags help search engines associate images with a web page ‘s content so they can properly index it within their search results. ALT tags also help search engines determine the best results to provide when a user searches for images. (This answer is provided by CommonPlaces.com)
Always internal link to another post on your website
What is an internal link?
An internal link is a type of hyperlink on a web page to another page or resource…on the same website.
For example, you might say something like: To see how SEO fits into your over all blogging plan see my post here. Internal links should never open in a new browser tab. The word here in the previous sentence is highlighted in blue which indicates that the word is a hyperlink which will take the reader to another web page, I have linked it to another blog post on my site, That blog post relates to the topic on SEO which is the topic of this post.
Internal links help boast PageRank (an algorithm used by Google Search to rank web pages in search results) and placement in the SERPS (Search Engine Results Page).
What is an external link?
…if another website links to you, this is considered an external link to your site. Similarly, if you link out to another website this is considered an external link.
You would external link to another site when you want readers’ to have access to additional information not included in your post. You should use external links as citations, give create to another author in which you have quoted, and to highlight addition resources that will be helpful to your reader.
Here is an example of an external link: For moreinformation on external links, take a look here.
External links should always open in a new tab.
Backlinks are one of the most important elements of SEO
The website MOZ explains the importance of Backlinks:
[Backlinks are especially valuable for SEO because they represent a “vote of confidence” from one site to another.
In essence, backlinks to your website are a signal to search engines that others vouch for your content. If many sites link to the same web page or website, search engines can infer that content is worth linking to, and therefore also worth surfacing on a SERP. So, earning these backlinks can have a positive effect on a site’s ranking position or search visibility.
The importance is so critical to your ability to rank on page one of search that I have included two must watch videos. I suggest you take notes while watching these videos and put the information into action immediately.
Video #1 – Brain Dean founders of Backlinko.com the world renown expert on SEO.
Video is quickly becoming one of the most important forms of content marketing and including video in your blog posts has a vital effect on your SEO effort. Google’s algorithms are increasingly placing priority on websites with video content.
How does video help?
Video increases your click-through rate ( the ratio of viewers who click on a specific link to the number of total viewers who view a page), LemonLight.com estimates that including video on your page will give as much as a 157% increase in organic traffic.
Video lowers you bounce rate (the percentage of visitors to a particular website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page) by encouraging visitors to spend twice as much time on your page compared to a page that has no video.

When the question is asked “How do I choose a niche for my Affiliate Marketing blog?”, the conventional wisdom states “Choose a niche that you are passionate about.” I do not agree. What if you chose as your niche the hobby ‘raising grasshoppers for fun and profit”? You may spend a year filling your blog with your heart felt passionate content and then only to find out that there is only a hand full of people in the world who are interested in raising grasshopper and the majority are 6 years old. How much money do you think you will make? 0f course that would not be a profitable niche. In this post I will show you how to choose a niche based on a combination of your interest and profitability.
What is a Niche?
A niche is an audience that has a certain interest in common.
Passion vs Profitability – Profitability is the Secret
Would you rather follow you passion and choose an obscure niche tht has a small audience, who may not be willing to pursue said passion? Or, would you be willing to choose a niche that has a mass appeal for people who have a burning desire to spend money within that niche?
“I do think you can make money in almost any niche that you decide to enter. However, some niches are a LOT easier to build an audience and make money with than others.”
Basically the point I am trying to make here is this: Choose a niche that you have an interest in but, not necessarily a passion. Let me put it another way, choose a niche that has already proven to be profitable and which you have an interest in. You do not have to be passionate about the niche. Just have strong enough interest in it to allow yourself to be able to research and compose valuable content that answers the burning questions that people have within that niche
Do not fall for the mindset of believing that your passion is going to lead to money. Instead, choose a niche that has been proven to be profitable and learn to be passionate about it because it earns you the money to fulfill your dreams and goals.
But, I just want to help people.
I respect people that have a servant’s heart because I too am a people pleaser. I derive great joy in helping others in their hour of need. Here are two examples, which will have a greater impact Long term?
” Is it better to start a blog in a niche that you know you can make money in so the later on you can help even more people or does it make sense to start a blog in a passion niche that won’t make much money but, will help a few people now?” -Paul Scrivens
Here is the answer; more money will allow you to help more people.
When considering a niche, Ask yourself these question
Does it have a big audience?
Is there potential for traffic?
Does the audience have purchasing power?
Is there opportunity for affiliate marketing?
Here is a list of the most Profitable niches
Health and fitness / Weight Loss
Beauty / Fashion
Dating / Relationships
Self Improvement / eLearning
How to Make Money / Finances
Technology / Electronic Gadgets / Gaming
Niche Down after you Choose a Niche
Contrary to what the blogging Gurus say, it is not imperative to niche down but, it certainly helps facilitate your success.
Niching down means having a clear focus on who your ideal target customer is and aligning your marketing (and content) to match.
Niching down also means aiming at a specific group of people within your chosen niche. This helps you laser target your content and affiliate offers to their exact questions and desires. This in turn helps build audience loyalty and increases Search Engine Optimization (helps people find your blog/website on Google search).
Niche – Weight Loss / sub-niches – for pregnant women, men over 40, women over 40, brides to be.
Niche – Beauty / sub-niches – teens, college age, over 40, over 50 and beyond.
Niche – How to Make Money and Finances / sub-niches – on the internet, dropshipping, franchisees, side hustles, how to save money, save for retirement, life insurance, stock market, commodity trading.
I hope you get the point.
Two equally important Facts to consider
To succeed within a niche you must provide value. This seems to be obvious but it’s the thing that many beginning blogger fail to provide.
Your job as a Blogger/Affiliate Marketer is to write valuable content that people want to read and relate to so much that they share it. Consider this:
Fact Number 1 – Will you be willing and able to research, write and possible experiment to gain experience in order to publish a level of content that people will want to read and share. Share being the key factor to judge whether or not you provide valuable content?
Fact Number 2 – Are you willing to put in the time and effort into this niche to write content that people are searching for?
If you aren’t willing to write content that people are seeking and are willing to share then you will not gain traction in that niche.
If you nail these to things, making money in that niche will be a lot easier.
Research the Audience
Before you make your finial decision on a niche, research the audience. Is it an audience that you can relate to? Do they have a type of personality that you are comfortable dealing with? Because some niche audiences are very vocal, will you be willing to deal with their comment and questions?
Consider your limits
Everyone have a limit. Will your limits allow you to pursue a given niche or would another niche be more suitable for you? The required time investment for some niches is considerable more than others, especially if the niche in technical in nature.
Consider Trends as will as historical change
Every niche changes over time. Your ability to write content that is timely to the current trends, reader’s likes/dislikes and situations within that niche are something that you must give thought to. Do you have access to the research material that is necessary for writing the content.?
