There is a vital fact that all beginner online marketers need to understand and that is Consistency and Patience are the Keys to Marketing Success.
This is a copy of an email that I sent to my list today. It contains a vitally important message that all online marketing beginners need to learn early on.
I know it has been a long time since my last email. Please forgive me.
I have been creating several online marketing training videos which I will be releasing each week.
So, I will be sending an email every Tuesday with a new Online Marketing Training video.
The other day I was watching a video that one of my mentors had shared on the subject of Content and Conversation.
Here is the take away:
Those of us that live in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia are programmed to expect everything to be ‘instant’. In other words ” we expect instant gratification”.
BUT, when it comes to online marketing it takes patience and persistence.
‘Consistency is the KEY’
In the 30 Minute Workday ebook, Nick Bramble teaches that everything we do in our online business should revolve around ‘building an email list’ and then email your list daily.
Nick suggests that in the beginning stage of building our list we should Jump Start the list by purchasing solo ads.
However, the average beginner misses the point. They purchase sole ads and they may add 100 people to their list but, make no sales.
They get discouraged because they did not make any sales and they think that online marketing does work and most will quit.
All successful online marketers have felt discouraged in the beginning. Until we realize the’ sales do not typically happen the first time you expose your offer to a person.’
You have to create valuable content that helps your audience (people on your list) answer their questions or helps them achieve a particular goal or help them get what they want.
You have to promote your content
The best-written content or the best video is worthless unless you get eyes on it. The way you get people to see your content is by promoting it.
Choose your promotion source, whether it is YouTube, SEO, Facebook Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Quora, Reddit, etc, I suggest that you choose one source and master it before adding additional promotional sources.
That’s why I suggest creating 1 post and video per week and promoting that blog post or video 5 days per week. (better yet, include your video in the blog post).
The point that I am trying to make is this
The research shows that you have to expose your prospective customer to your offer at least 7 times before they will buy.
Thus, the need to consistently email your list every day and promote your content on a daily basis.
Remember, ‘Consistency is the KEY’
Okay, that all I have for today.
I hope this message helps you build your online business.
Take action and make it a great day!
